The Utah Transit Authority (“UTA”) is requesting qualifications and financial proposals from responsive, responsible, qualified parties interested in developing 48 acres of property at the UTA 10000 South Sandy Civic Center TRAX station in Sandy, UT. The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (“BART”) is pleased to announce the availability of property it owns at the Millbrae BART Station for private development. BART’s station area property offering is located within the City of Millbrae as depicted in Exhibits 1 and 2.
BART is offering four parcels of its station area property as shown on Exhibit 2. All of the four parcels are offered to maximize flexibility to the development community. The purpose ofthis Request for Proposal is to enter into a contract with a highly qualified firm to assist the Tysons Land Use Task Force in identifying changes to the 1994 Comprehensive Plan for Tysons Corner by applying the best possible Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and urban design planning strategies for the future growth ofthe Tysons Corner Urban Center. The Tri-County Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) is the public transit provider for the Portland region. TriMet was responsible for construction of the Interstate MAX light rail project in North Portland, which was completed under budget. TriMet received approval from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to use a portion of these unspent funds to increase funding for station area development. The desired result of this development solicitation is selection of a Development Team to develop property purchased by TriMet for the purpose of promoting redevelopment in the Killingsworth MAX station area. TriMet is working closely with staff from the Portland Development Commission (PDC) and Metro’s Transit Oriented Development Implementation Program to coordinate station area development activities.
