Reconnecting America President and CEO John Robert Smith will address rural transportation needs in a speech entitled "Stations, Livability and Economic Development" at the Legislative Agriculture Chairs Summit to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, Jan. 14-16. State Agriculture and Rural Leaders (SARL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the roles of agriculture and rural development leadership in all 50 states, Canadian provinces and U.S. territories. SARL works collaboratively with the Council of State Governments and the National Conference of State Legislatures to host this annual Summit which address the critical issues and challenges that agriculture and rural communities face. The Legislative Ag Chairs Summit is the number one meeting for legislators whose major focus is agriculture and rural communities.
