Reconnecting America President and CEO John Robert Smith will be participating in a creative placemaking summit hosted by MassINC in Lowell, Mass., on April 11. The summit will explore how small to midsize cities can use arts and culture as a revitalization strategy. Smith will be touching on his experience as mayor of Meridian, Miss., and transportation's critical role in shaping the built environment in ways that facilitate urban vibrancy.
