Transit-Oriented Development is not just a way to save on infrastructure costs, reduce global warming, and get people to work more efficiently. TOD is a lifestyle, a movement, and a re-awakening of public life. This section of the site is dedicated to the less data-driven aspects of TOD. MetroTransit in the Twin Cities teaches us "a new way to move"

MetroTransit in the Twin Cities teaches us "a new way to move"

This fun notebook-like site gives users a new way to think about how to live the transit lifestyle. Text is highlighted, pages are saved with old photographs and tickets, and scraps of Post-Its litter the site- just like our desks. The lived-in look makes transit and transit life seem familiar and well-worn, traits that are lacking in a lot of newer development.
